As a Maryland native, Captain Amy loves sailing on the Chesapeake Bay, but has extended her range from Boston to Key West, the Bahamas, and the BVI. She sails for volunteer organizations and leads midshipmen at the Naval Academy in their summer sailing blocks. With ASA qualifications to teach levels up to 106 (advanced nighttime sailing), 114 (catamaran), and 118 (docking) she has certified over 170 students.
