For almost as long as she can remember, Ren has enjoyed sailing & racing boats of all different sizes and designs. She delights in bringing joy and confidence to sailors of different levels in lessons. A career classroom teacher, Ren is honored to also be certified as a US Sailing and American Sailing Association instructor on multiple levels. Teaching courses on the History and Culture of the Chesapeake, as well as captains and masters courses for the Coast Guard, have enhanced her maritime learning. Depending on the conditions, Ren loves to sail either her O’Day DaySailer or Cabo Rico 42. Ren holds a USCG Masters license with Aux Sail & Towing endorsements.
