Captain Phil started sailing on the Chesapeake Bay with his wife in the early 1990s. Captain
Phil has experience sailing both his own boats and chartering boats on the east coast of U.S.,
Canada, the Great Lakes, Florida, the Caribbean and the South Pacific with many sea stories to
share. Captain Phil and his wife have sailed their retirement adventure boat, a 54-foot Irwin
ketch more than 7,000 miles in the last 4 years and have brought the boat back to Annapolis for
more Chesapeake Bay sailing. Captain Phil is a retired engineer with a 100-ton masters license
with sailing endorsement. Captain Phil will keep you safe while having fun and enjoying all that
our beautiful Chesapeake Bay has to offer.
